FAQS

  • What exactly is SwayTrue?

SwayTrue is a process that helps leaders and business owners reconnect to who they are at their core so they can lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose. We combine somatic (body-based) practices with strategic storytelling to create your legacy narrative. A future-focused, values-led story you can use to guide decisions, shape your leadership presence, and grow your influence without burning out.

  • Who is SwayTrue for?

SwayTrue works best for senior women leaders, founders, and entrepreneurs who are already successful on paper but feel they’re not fully seen, heard, or aligned with their own values in their leadership role. Many clients come to me after hitting a plateau, feeling disconnected from their purpose, or noticing they’ve been leading in ways that drain them rather than sustain them.

  • How is SwayTrue different from coaching or personal branding?

This is not surface-level brand work or mindset pep talks. We start in the body, using somatic techniques to ground you, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect you to your truth. From there, we uncover your values, story, and leadership identity, and translate them into practical tools like elevator pitches, LinkedIn bios, keynote story arcs, and content strategies. You leave with both the clarity and the language to show up with impact.

  • I’m not “into” mindfulness or yoga. Will the somatic parts still work for me?

Yes, everything is tailored to your comfort level. The somatic work isn’t about chanting or sitting cross-legged (unless you want to). It’s about practical, body-based tools that help you regulate your nervous system so you can think clearly and respond strategically in high-stakes situations. Think of it as leadership training for your body and mind together.

  • Will this help me prepare for something specific, like a keynote, board meeting, or job transition?

Absolutely. Many clients use SwayTrue during a career pivot, before a high-visibility event, or while preparing for a new leadership role. We can focus the narrative work and somatic practices to support your immediate goals while still creating a longer-term legacy story.

  • What’s the difference between a brand narrative and a legacy story?

Your brand narrative communicates what you do and why it matters in a way your audience can connect to. Your legacy story is deeper, it’s the through-line of your life and leadership that shapes how you’re remembered and the impact you leave. In SwayTrue, we build both, so you have a strategic story you can use now and a north star for the future.

  • Do I need to have a clear goal before I start?

No. Some clients arrive crystal-clear on what they want to achieve, while others just know they feel stuck or unseen. Part of the process is helping you identify what you truly want and often, it’s something bigger and bolder than you imagined at the start.

  • I’m not a natural storyteller, can this still work for me?

Yes. Storytelling is a skill, not a personality trait. I guide you step-by-step to pull out the key moments, values, and truths that make up your story, and then we shape them into something you can use with confidence even if you’ve never thought of yourself as “good with words.”

  • Is everything confidential?

Yes. Anything you share stays between us. Many clients bring deeply personal experiences into the process, and that trust is the foundation of the work.

  • How personalised is the process?

Entirely. No two clients follow the exact same journey. While the framework is structured, the way we explore your story, values, and leadership identity is tailored to your pace, style, and needs.

  • How long does it take?

The core process runs over six weeks in the Lead Incubator. We meet once a week for focused sessions, with light reflection or action steps between sessions. Many clients choose to extend for ongoing strategy, implementation, and accountability.

  • Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, all sessions can be done online, which means you can work with me from anywhere. For local clients, in-person sessions can also be arranged.

  • Will this take a lot of my time?

No. The process is designed for busy leaders. You’ll spend around 90 minutes per week in session and 15–20 minutes between sessions on reflection or action steps. Many clients find the somatic work actually saves them time by helping them work from a calmer, more decisive state.

  • What results can I expect?

    Clients often report:

Feeling calmer and more grounded in high-stakes situations

Greater clarity on what they stand for and how to express it

Stronger presence and confidence in boardrooms, interviews, or media features

Practical assets they can use in pitches, leadership talks, or team communications

A renewed sense of purpose and a clear vision for their impact

  • What happens after the 6-week process?

You can continue with monthly or quarterly strategy sessions to keep momentum, adapt your narrative to new opportunities, or prepare for key leadership moments. Some clients also bring me in for team workshops or brand strategy projects after completing the individual process.
